Androcur and Aldactone decrease the production of androgens, the hormones that cause the increase in body hair. However thisccombination is not adequate - you also need to be on oral contraceptive pills (that contain the female hormones estrogen and progesterone), which have been proven to be the most effective in reducing hirsutism.
