no you shouldnt give your fiancé an antibiotic without being first examined properly by a physician. it might be a viral infection causing all the symptoms. specially if the symptoms are present only for two to three days. he needs to drink lots of fluids, paracetamol and NSAIDs if no contraindications. if symptoms persist he needs to be seen by a physician.
