Hello, i will start blood doping (using EPO) and i want to know if this could be lethal at night or when the body is not active, and how many units per kg does the body needs if possible, thank you.
EPO is used to treat anemia ( decreased red cell count ) secondary to various medical conditions including kidney disease, especially patients on dialysis, and cancer.
its use requires close medical follow-up, since the red cell count may increase to a dangerous level, causing high blood pressure, increased blood viscosity, stroke, and heart attacks.. therefore its use should be based on strict medical indication and medical supervision.
EPO is sometimes used by athletes to boost performance, however this practice is illegal, and as highlighted above can be dangerous, and is therefore not recommended.
