Hello, I had sex for the first time a month ago and i've been active ever since. I feel sharp pain in my ovaries during intercourse. Is there anything to be concerned about?
it is normal to have some pain when initiating sexual intercourse for the first time, as hymenal laceration will cause some pain ( for some patients), but deep vaginal pain is in the majority of cases pathological i.e we recommend to see a gyn for physical exam and pelvic ultrasound ( to rule out ovarian cyst or uterine cause)
