Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
If you're a chronic and/or heavy smoker, or have asthma, or chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a simple cold is more likely to exacerbate into bronchitis or pneumonia, even in the absence of fever. The diagnosis however requires a proper physical examination to be made. Antibiotic treatment must not be initiated haphazardly. You are advised to visit your doctor.
