Dear doctor, I've been depressed for about three years now, a general doctor suggested that I take a med. called purelex a nerve relaxer, which doctor do u suggest I sewhaany extra advicess?
First it is important to make a correct diagnosis.who told you you have depressiin? Depressiin is an illness that should be diagnised and evaluated by a doctor.if your doctor decides that you have depression and not anxiety or other type of psychologic provlem the he will evaluate how severe is your depression.depending on the severity of depression and the main symproms you are having in additiin to other factors like age ,your doctor wikl decide to prescribe medicine or to use other types of therapy.As a general rule we avoid antidepressants in teenagers except when its strict necessary.
