Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
Can you handle one more month ,i feel you stress ,it is difficult but this is my advice for you and your baby remember he will change by time concerning breast feed intervals .

By breast feeding exclusively for 4 months you will be giving your baby most of the immunoglobulins necessary for immunity .

By giving nothing but your breastmilk for the first four months you have given your baby strong protection against ear infections and respiratory tract diseases for a whole year

By breastfeeding for at least 4 months you have reduced your baby’s risk of SIDS (sudden infant disease

By breastfeeding for 4 months you have given your child a lower risk of developing eczema and asthma

You may be preparing to return to work, and lots of breastfeeding mothers make the decision to switch to formula at this stage.
However this does not have to be the case. Your milk can be expressed for your baby to have while you’re at work. You can find a collection of resources for working and pumping mothers here.
If it is not possible to express, try as a last resort you could wean her onto formula during the day and keep her morning and evening breastfeeds going and after a certain time the baby by himself will start loving the bottle at this age if introduced ,gradual weaning better for you and the baby ,continue your gradual weaning or mixed bottle and breast milk till the 6 month where the baby becomes familiar with the bottle and food will start to be introduced .at six month baby the breastfed babies had taken almost the most important of a breastfeeding milk .

Babies tend to want to breastfeed more often when they are feeling emotionally unsettled. If you are returning to work it may trigger increased feedings

so it is important for your baby and you too ,whwnever you breastfeed you lose weight more ,your genetal organs are inplace faster ,your uterus contracts easier and faster ,you baby has immunity more and feeling loved more ,especially that you are a working mother .
weaning or stoping at this stage meaning that you give only about approximately 27% of the immunity .

however if you are finding hard switch to what i advise you ,and try to relax for your baby and the milk supply ,if you feel totally stressed then it is your option to stop or continue ,weigh the benefits and your feelings .
