Been using MICROGYNON'30 for more than a year & never had a problem but it has androgenic activity & I heard that anti-androgenic pills are much better. Should I switch or is this issue not important?

Dr. Nemer Charafeddine Obstetrics & Gynecology
the element with an androgenic effect in microgynon is Levonorgestrel, but it depends on the patient,
if you are using this ocp without side effects , so no need for switching to another drug..
other ocp containing drospirenone will have anti-androgenic effect , you can use them,
always ask your gyn for that & before taking any medication..
