49 years old male has a prostate cancer gleason grade 7.is there a risk of having a metastase already if PSA=12? he has also a bladder cancer, now waiting for biopsy result to see if same cancer
With a Gleason of 7 and a PSA of 12 the risk of distal metastasis and specially to the lymph nodes is low around 10% but there bigger risk of locally advanced disease witch is ruled out by digital rectal exam and prostate biopsy. For the bladder tumor it comes most of the time from the bladder especially if it is not stick to the prostate, sure the biopsy will give us more details.
