4 years ago , I got a STD it called balanities ( red skin ,irritation and sorness of the glans , an un pleasant odour , phimosis..). my docotor told me to take dermophix and diflucore bas nthg changed
Balanitis is not an STD (sexually transmitted disease). It is rather an infection of the gland of the penis by bacteria or by fungus.
Phimosis could be a risk factor to cause balanitis because because it will induce a decrease hygiene at this site.
The treatment given for you was for that episode of balanitis.
But this condition could recur. In this case, we must search for the cause of recurrence and treat it.
