What do you mean by prominent?
Feb 16, 2015

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
When we say that the blood vessels seem more prominent on an X-ray image, it means that they seem bigger or larger than we would usually expect. The interpretation of this observation cannot be made without integrating it within the clinical presentation, i.e., the medical history and findings on the physical examination, plus or minus additional lab tests.
