Note that a sore throat and fatigue are part of my flu symptoms. Do you still agree it is an allergy? Most of the time, the flu starts with a mild sore throat until it gets stronger a day later.

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Allergy is still a possibility; another thing is that of a carrier state: you carry a bacteria in your upper airways (most commonly, it is streptococcus, known to cause respiratory infections), and you get auto-innoculation or auto-infection at a frequent rate. If the latter case is true, you will need to have a throat culture that will identify the specific bacteria you may be carrying, then an eradication treatment with the proper antibiotic that targets that bacteria.
