Unless you are experiencing symptoms (fever, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rash or others), you do not need to do any tests. Usually, insects transfer diseases through a direct contact with the human host (like a sting). You could however test the water (in an environmental lab) for presence of fungi or parasites (which are invisible to the naked eye) and report to authorities if the results are alarming.
