My husband had a severe global psoriasis 1 yr ago from top to toe and went under biological treatment (humira + methotrexate) He still has thick toe and finger nails. Any advice on treating those?

The biologics as well as methotrexate are by themselves treatment for nail psoriasis. Do you notice an improvement of the basis of the nails, if yes then it is a matter of time before they gradually improve. Otherwise you can add topical creams containing steroids over the nails. Discuss this treatment with his treating physician. If the psoriasis has been present for long years the problem in the nails can be more difficult to treat.
