My 3 years old girl has stoped drinking milk when we started to give her milk of 3-5 years. Can i continue giving her the milk of 1-3 years? Thank you

Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
Yes , of course you can .you can give her the previous milk stage and after a period of time try again with her .
there is a slight differences between the two staged milks .
if she refuses to take more any milk also ,you can increase her take of laban ,labneh ,milk dairy products ,she might like juices mixed with milk ,or yougurt fruit flavored .

What you can do is mix the two together (like 2/3 of the 1-3 milk because she prefers it, and 1/3 the 3-5 milk), and gradually decrease the amount of the 1-3 milk while increasing the amount of the 3-5 milk in parallel. This way the transition will be much smoother and she won't feel abrupt difference in the milk taste.
