Dr. Salim Saab Otolaryngology (ENT)
Usually Sulfadiazine cream is really helpful in this case as well as sodium hyaluronate. Ask your doctor or dermatologist if there's any interaction between the medication your mother is already taking (including those bought with a prescription and herbal medicine) and Sulfadiazine and/or sodium hyaluronate.

Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
As long as your mom bedsore is not infected then what you are doing is enough beside other care
Steps to treat pressure sores include:
-Managing the tissue load. Tissue load includes pressure, shear and friction (rubbing). All of these forces can damage your skin and deeper tissues.
-Keeping the sore area clean and covered, and not letting it dry out.
-Keeping healthy tissue around the sore clean and protecting it from moisture.
-Eating a healthy diet.
-Avoiding smoking. Smoking dries out the skin and reduces blood supply to the skin, so it can help pressure sores form and also slow the healing process.
as long as there are no signs of infection no need for antibiotic, and what you are doing is what is needed
signs of infection include (where an antibiotic is needed)
-Redness or warmth in the skin around the sore, or red streaks leading away from the sore area.
-Tenderness around the sore.
-Pus in the drainage from the sore.
-A bad smell from the sore or from the bandage.
-Fever.
tell the doctor if you watch any of these signs to switch to another care steps where antibiotic is added
