both EMGs performed by the same Dr? axonopathie means that you have a neuropathy that has tendancy to deteriorate (if axonal) and usually we advice to repeat the EMG 6 months after to see if it is stable or if there ia deterioration if stable we repeat in one year. if you feel things are getting worst or you have more trouble walking repeat the EMG. The EMG cannot tell if it is hereditary or not but it can have an idea if the type of neuropathy COULD be. did you do any genetic testing?
