Is there a list of psychologists/psychotherapists in Lebanon? How can I choose the right one for a general first-time session and diagnosis? can you recommend any in Ashrafieh/Down Town/Gemmayze?
There are several psychologists in Lebanon. However make sure to choose someone that has at LEAST a masters degree. In the USA for example, psychologist need to have a PhD before treating patients. In Lebanon, this is unfortunately not the case. The Lebanese Psychological Association may have a list.
