Is sparkling water a replacement for mineral water
Aug 26, 2014

Dr. Rania Mousa General Medicine
Sparkling water and mineral water are healthy beverage choices for people trying to cut back on sugary sodas, alcohol or caffeine.

When carbon dioxide gets infused in your water, little bubbles, called carbonation, form. Sparkling water which also known as carbonated water. must contain as much carbonation as it did when it came out of a natural spring. Its minerals usually get removed.

On its own, sparkling water constitutes a healthy, calorie-free beverage.

So,sparkling water and regular water are calorie free and good choices for staying hydrated. People may choose sparkling water if they do not like regular water. Lemon or lime can also be added to any type of water for flavor.
