Is sleep paralysis something to be worried about?
Jan 15, 2013

Dr. Imad Shahhal Neurosurgery
Sleep paralysis can be a normal variant of a sleep variant that is increased by stress and stimulants. It can also be related to more serious disorders like narcolepsy. The more benign version can be helped by avoiding stimulants and reducing stress in our life . Further evaluation by a trained Neurologist may be necessary for patterns that resist this simple intervention . The more common type is the benign type.
