Is sinusitis also a reason for head numbing and freezing?
Aug 7, 2014

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Complicated sinusitis with the infection spreading up into the upper sinuses (ethmoid and sphenoid sinuses) and probably affecting the brain (infection or causing a blood clot in one of the major vein-likesstructures the brain, the sagittal sinus) can produce numbing and freezing along with severe headache, vomiting, facial tenderness, blurred vision, and probably fever. If concerned have a physician examine you promptly.
