Parabens are found in a variety of products, such as cosmetics and deodorants. They are said to have some estrogen-like properties. And since estrogen is linked to breast cancer, some claimed tat Parabens cause breast cancer. The reality is that this relationship was not scientifically proven and that the estrogen-like properties of Parabens are too weak compared to body-made estrogen. In any case, no major brands of anti-perspirants or deodorants contains Parabens nowadays and those who do are required to state it in the ingredient list. Until today, Parabens were not implicated as one of the factors causing Breast Cancer.
