Is it ok to reuse steroid cream for face after a month? I had a prescription 2yrs ago for locapred for seborrehic dermatitis. I followed it and it was fine. Last month I got the things on my face again but I couldn't find any locapred so I used Elocom instead. I used it the way it was indicated for locapred: 3days am+pm/3 days pm/1 week every other day pm. But now a month later it's back. Is it ok if I reuse the treatment? Also, I apply makeup with a brush and I did not clean the brush when my face cleared up (lazy i know) can it be the reason why it came back?

Hello. We usually don't like long period application of corticosteroids, especially on the face. Because it has many side effects like folliculitis, hair growth, and atrophy.
Beside side effects, corticosteroids may lead to rebound effect after stopping the cream. And this is what happened with u.
For seborrheic dermatitis, few treatments are available; but I personally don't advice corticosteroid application.
