I'm 54 years old woman who had breast cancer 4 years ago and on Femara now. I have bold spots on my front hair line probably due to lupus. Is it reversible. how can I cure it
Femara belongs to a class of drugs called aromatase inhibitors. It acts by blocking the enzyme aromatase, which is responsible for catalyzing the transformation of testosterone to estrogen. Bybblocking thus enzyme, the level of estrogen will drop significantly. As a result, increased risk of hair loss and hair thinning independent of chemotherapy and age is seen in association with use of Femara. Possible solutions in your case are only topical treatments, such as minoxidil. But please check with your treating physician before starting any medication.

The American Dental Association recommends dental cleanings for adults at least twice annually. Some stains can only be removed by a professional cleaning.
