This depends on the severity of the anemia, in terms of the levels of hemoglobin and hematocrit, if the body is compensating properly, if the cause of this anemia is identified and is being properly managed, and how the body is handling it in terms of heart rate, respiratory rate, exercise tolerance etc. A mild anemia should not preclude fasting.
