Two factors come into play in this scenario:
1- exercise and fitness supplements have not been tested exhaustively, and there are too many brand names out there, so saying with certainty that amino acid supplements or whey protein or casein do not induce acne formation would be inaccurate.
2- as long as the supplements you'll be taking do not contain steroids (taking steroids regularly and for a prolonged period of time does trigger the formation of acne), then based on the fact that clinical trials have demonstrated that our diets have no substantial effect on the appearance of acne, you can assume, according to this, that most probably amino acid supplements (which by the way also include other ingredients, mainly carbs) should not exacerbate or re-activate your acne problem.
Then again it's a matter of trial and error: if you do notice that your acne is getting worse again within the use of such products, you may want to stop.
Mind you, I do not endorse the use of these products because they have not been tested enough to establish their efficacy and safety, not to mention that they impose a load of proteins on the kidneys.
