If you do not have concurrent medical conditions such as an acute upper respiratory tract infection or chronic diseases such as diabetes or hypertension, then the pain you're experiencing in you ear may be explained by the fact that there is unequal pressure in the ear. This has resulted from the intense vomiting episode.
A connecting tract, known as the Eustachian tube), is found between the nasopharynx (the part formed by the nose and throat) & middle ear, is responsible for maintaining the pressure equilibrium between nasopharynx and middle ear. If this tube gets blocked, as in the case of forceful vomiting or entry of food particles, blockage/ discomfort of the ear would result because there will be uneven pressure between the nasopharynx & middle ear.
In order to relieve your symptoms, you can try performing the valsalva maneuver, whereby you take a deep breath, close your mouth & nose and try to blow out the air through the ears. The pressure generated due to this maneuver will relieve the blockage in the tube and provide relief from blocking sensation. Another thing that you could do is to use decongestant nasal drops, antihistamine preparations and perform jaw movements (e.g. chewing gum).
If despite the above mentioned measures you still feel ear pain, you are advised to seek medical attention by an ENT specialist in the clinic.
