I visited an ophthalmologist and he said that I have cataract and I need surgery! Is it dangerous?

Dr. Pierre Mardelli Ophthalmology
Cataracts are so common among seniors that they can also be classified as a normal aging change, even though they are considered an age-related eye disease. No, it is not dangerous, modern cataract surgery is extremely safe and so effective that 100% of vision lost to cataract formation usually is restored. It's often better to have cataracts removed before they advance too far.

Pierre G. Mardelli
