If you have been taking Metformin for a long time, it could take a while before it's completely cleared out from your system. As such, you may still experience some of its side effects, one of them is the sensation of urinary urgency and frequency. Because metformin is cleared out through the kidneys, drinking plenty of water will speed up the process, so do that.
Another possibility is that Duphaston (which, and as I have already explained in my previous answer, is a progesterone-like hormone that may cause abdominal discomfort, bloating) and Yasmin (an estrogen-like hormone that could also lead to bloating) may be causing you bloating and/or constipation, in which case the intestines exert pressure on and push against the bladder, creating a feeling of need to pass urine even though the bladder may not need to be emptied.
You can resort to dietary fibers (whole wheat, vegetables and fruits unpeeled, dried fruits), fiber supplements, hydration, and exercise to help with bloating/constipation and thus ease these undesired side effects.

Urinary discomfort and irritation can be caused by an obstruction in the urinary tract or by nerve problems that interfere with signals between the brain and the bladder. If the nerves aren't working properly, the brain may not get the message that the bladder is full. Even if you know that your bladder is full, the bladder muscle that squeezes urine out may not get the signal that it is time to push, or the sphincter muscles may not get the signal that it is time to relax. A weak bladder muscle can also cause retention
Urinary urgency often occurs as a result of irritation and/or inflammation of the bladder wall

some causes that you might have other than the pills you are taking and must be incestigated are :

>The consumption of certain foods or beverages such as:
Certain foods can irritate the bladder, and worsen the symptoms of the medical condition, overactive bladder. Try eliminating each of the following foods—one item per week—and see if you feel better.
Spicy, acidic, or citrusy foods and the chemicals in certain preservatives and food additives may irritate the lining of the bladder in some people. Such products may include:
caffeine, particularly coffee, regular tea, green tea, soda, diet soda
fruit juice,Cranberry juice, for example, often causes extreme urgency in patients.
Alcohol
Artificial sweeteners
Chocolate
Citrus fruits and drinks, such as oranges and orange juice
Pickled foods
Tomatoes

>not drinking enough water can cause irritation ,adequate hydration should be maintained to have dilute non irritating urine, high intake of water cause frequency

>medical conditions such as kidney disease ,Diabetes ,interstitial cystitis, overactive bladder, urinary syndrome ,urinary tract infection....

>Side effects from medications, especially diuretics (water pills) and drugs with caffeine,,hypertensive drugs, anti depressants, sleeping pills

>Pregnancy or recent delivery

>any mass in front of the bladder can cause a pressure on the bladder and cause urgency and irritation

for that if the problem is disturbing and uncomfortable ,it is advised to undergo a through out physical examination and and blood tests sch as kidney function test ,blood sugar test ,bladder function tests ,certain images ,check with your doctor to see the possible cause and be treated .
