I sometimes wake up with a very bad smell coming out of my nose. What is the reason and what should I do?
Mar 25, 2013

Dr. Judy Matta Pediatrics
Nasal odor may be indicative of nasal infection or a problem affecting airflow associated with thick mucous secretions. People who suffer from excessive a chronic sinus problems are more prone to bad breath and should have it treated.

Dr. Paul Yazbek Otolaryngology (ENT)
Agree with Dr. Matta, and the treatment should include antibiotics, nasal washes, nasal steroids and sometimes decongestants, so it is better if you can check with an Ear, Nose & throat specialist.
