yes there is a treatment for major depression. however, you need to be seen and evaluated by a psychiatrist to first diagnose you for major depression and he/she will prescribe the appropriate therapy whether it is pharmacological or psychological. you cannot take anti- depressive medication by yourself. you need proper assessment and follow up with a psychiatrist.
