I have slight scoliosis and inflammation dr prescribed arcoxia 90mg i read that this medicin can be harmful and can cause heart diseases and can damage the liver is that true?
Not necessarily - Arcoxia (etoricoxib) is a non steroidal anti inflammatory drug used in the treatment of a number of conditions associated with arthritis (joint inflammation). As an adverse effect, it may complicate pre-existing heart or liver disease. It usually does not cause them. So rest assured, and remember to always discuss your concerns with your treating physician to better understand the pros and cons of the treatment options.
