I have shoulder pain with sense of electricity
Nov 18, 2015

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Lancinating pain (with the feeling of an electrical current) usually indicates a problem in the nerve, most likely due to inflammation resulting from injury to the affected body part. If your job requires excessive use of your shoulder, or you play sports that may cause injury  to your shoulder, or you sleep on that shoulder all the time, this may explain the lancinating pain.  In any case, you need to have a physician examine your shoulder in order to be able to pinpoint the exact problem and manage it accordingly.
