I have been experiencing frequent pain in one of my toes. Often it's fine but sometimes it gets really annoying when walking or driving. What could this be?

Dr. Ghassan Nawfal Surgery
Pain in the big toe could be due, among other things, to Gout ( High levels of Uric Acid) due to protein-rich foods and alcohol which can put you at risk because they contain high levels of purines - the chemical building blocks of proteins that create uric acid when they are metabolised by the body.
A visit to the Rheumatologist (joint doctor) will help rule out other causes and he could initiate the appropriate treatment for your condition.
