I have a relatively large belly coz i take the glivec 100g 4 pills per day (since 2005), is there any medication that can decrease the size of my belly? its very annoying!
Belly increases when you put on weight. Some medications may be responsible for the weight gain. The belly shouldn't be looked at in an isolated way.
- If you are overweight, then a healthy diet, with exercise and a long term follow up with a dietician would probably improve your belly.
- If your belly is large in an isolated way and is resistant to diet, and if it is not hanging, then a liposuction of this area could be the solution.
- If your belly is large and hanging then a combined procedure with liposuction and tummy tuck might be the correct answer.
