I have a cough that has been stuck for 2 days. Accompanied with nausea and acid. Now my tonsils really hurt (I think as a result from the cough)

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
These symptoms are typical of gastroesophageal reflux, or the backward return of the stomach acid up through the esophagus (the swallowing tube) and into the throat. This causes irritation to the throat and vocal cords, producing an irritative (dry) cough, acid brash or bitterness in the mouth especially upon waking up in the morning, and maybe hoarseness.
I advise you to consult with a physician on the matter in order to better investigate your symptoms, arrive at the causing problem and treat accordingly.
