During tummy tuck we often reaproximate the abdominal muscles that are widened by previous overweight or pregnancy. That is responsible for a feeling of stiffness but it fades away in the first 2 months. As for the scar, the surgeons does your suture and you will do your scar. A scar improves over a year and a half. but sometimes we encounter skins that do not whiten the scar. You can refer to your plastic surgeon for a follow up visit.
