I had a slightly ill defined nodule, which after biopsy turned out benign. Can't become later a non benign one? Should I take the advice of a surgeon to remove it or only checked every 6 months in ult

Usually a benign lesion doesn't need to be removed. It depends on the type of the lesion on the pathology report. If it's a nevus for example then it is better to remove it because there will still be a risk of malignant transformation. The best would be to take the opinion of your dermatologist and to bring him the pathology report of the biopsy with you.

i totally agree with Dr.Al Dhaybi. I understand from your question that the lesion is big and you did a biopsy because removing it would leave a big scar. if this is the case the physician who did the biopsy should read the pathology report in details and accordingly he orients you to surgery or to observation and follow up. if it was a small lesion i think it should have been removed totally and sent for pathology.
