I had a pap smear test,results were normal.my doctor prescribed me ovumix for 6 nights.I went for another opinion,the other doctor prescribed polygynax based on same pap.Which one to take?better?
both are of the same indication and purpose ,both treatments are treatment of against fungal infections, with added advantage of having wide antibacterial spectrum.
OVUMIX contains
Centella
Metronidazole (anti fungal)
Miconazole Nitrate(anti fungal)
Neomycin Sulfate
Polymyxin B Sulfate
POLYGYNAX contains
Neomycin, Polymyxin B and Nystatin
so both have the same ingredients and differ in the anti fungal used ,ovumix contain metronidazol and miconazol while polygynax contain nystatin all these antifungal are effective and have similar effectiveness
So it is up to you which one to take .
