I got a positive guaiac test, no bowel infection, no hemorrhoids, no fever, no abdominal pain. What could it be? Can it be just IBS? Or polyps?

Depending on your symptoms and risk factors, family history even the age... Several intestinal problems might give a positive G test.  Ulcers, hemorrhoids, diverticulosis, cancers or inflammatory bowel disease (colitis) may also cause blood in your stool. U need to be evaluated by GI specialist. For ex a gastric or duodenal ulcer are common causes of pos test, nd this needs evaluation,
