I got a nail pricked in my foot before 10 days, i cleaned the wound with Dettol,i took an injection of TT next day, Still there is pain in the area, even wound healed, Is it required to take a dose?
after deep nail penetration to the foot, people will feel pain for a long period of time due to highly vascularized and innervated area of the foot. the important issues are: 1- no redness, inflammation, or paresthesia should exist on the skin after 10 days.
2- no pus or discharge should come out from the opening
3- the pain dynamics should have a decreasing tendency (pain is decreasing with time). if this is the case so no worries just observe and some pain killers in case pain is not tolerable.
