I am sorry previously i have mentioned it was 1.3 mm (typo error ) while in reality mine is 13mm . You said above 10 mm is problematic , could it be cancer ? should i proceed with a surgery ?

I realized that it was a typo as a 1.3 mm growth is not called a polyp. Still it's considered relatively small in size and this in addition to the fact that the large majority of gall bladder polyps are BENIGN growths are reassuring.

I agree with Dr. Zakia on the fact that most polyps are benign but I disagree on the fact that a 13mm polyp is small. In fact any gall bladder polyp above 6mm - 1cm is large and should not be neglected.

Dear, currently, the recommendation for surgery are growth in a documented polyp or a size bigger then 1cm. So yes, you may consider surgery although please have no worries about the possibilities of it being cancer.
