I sometimes have mouth sores inside the skin (cheilitis) that aren't visible & in my mouth & tongue. I feel that my lips heat up. I use moisturizers twice/day. Is there a permanent solution?

Dr. Rola Al Dhaybi Dermatology
There are some medical drugs that can be given to patients who have frequent mouth sores that can decrease their flare-ups. However, sometimes it can be a virus and sometimes a disease can cause this. Treatment is completely different depending on the cause of your problem. The best would be to get them examined during a flare-up either by an ENT doctor or a dermatologist.
