How to cure a laryngite?
Mar 8, 2013

Dr. Jihad Achkar Otolaryngology (ENT)
I assume you are describing the voice loss or hoarseness that comes along an upper respiratory tract infection ie. acute and short-lasting. In that case, your best bet is relative voice rest, as in 2 days of rare voice use, and aggressive hydration. Drink anything but alcohol and caffeine.

I agree with the previous answer and if repetitive episode, check if any acid reflux, vocal cord dysfunction or allergy.
