How does someone know if they have warts in the throat or they will go away by their own? And if someonenhas hpv he will transmit them to others even if they dont have warts?

Dr. Zakia Dimassi Pediatrics
Warts in the throat can be detected by examining it. Warts in the majority of cases are self limited, meaning they resolve on their own. There's no way of telling exactly how long warts will persist. There is what we call a carrier state, whereby the person carries the virus but has no visible manifestations (warts in the case of HPV). A person who is a carrier of the virus may transmit it to others even if there are no visible warts. People who are both carriers may exchange viruses if they happen to be carrying different types of HPV.
