How can we differentiate between a rotator cuff tear or tension ? I had pain while moving my shoulder 2 weeks ago , after exersicing its back now.

Hello there! 
Pain around the shoulder joint can be of many origins, not necessarily a rotator cuff injury. 
Generally, your shoulder should not hurt with movement, during or after exercise. 
If by "exercising" you mean lifting weights at the gym, double check on your lifting technique. Ask a certified trainer to help, there might some corrections to be made to some exercises, mainly in over-head. Icing you shoulder for 20 minutes after every session usually helps with preventing painful episodes. 
If your pain persists, you need to rest and continue icing. 
I would advise you to consult with a shoulder specialist, an Orthopedic surgeon with a sub-specialty in Sports Medicine.
