Follow up question Today she has 3 new ulcer like blisters on her fingers. Her doctor says there's nothing to be done and I wanted a second opinion.

Indeed we usually do not do much to coxsackie infection (also known as hand-foot-mouth disease). The lesions that appear on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet are usually left to crust and dry up, similar to chickenpox.
