Dry cough, no fever or mucus. Taking Fluibron and Oradus Beta for a week now but no improvements. What could be the cause?
Jun 26, 2015

Dr. Karim Farah Pulmonology
Dry cough has 3 main causes:
1-post nasal drip: which is when the nasal mucus drip posteriorly on your pharynx and irritates your vocal cords causing cough.
2-GastroEsophageal Reflux disease also know as reflux or GERD
3-cough variant asthma. Which a mild form of asthma and hyperactive airway disease.
You need your physician to examine you and take more history to give you the appropriate treatment.
All three need more than few weeks to improve. So give tour treatment some time.
