Unfortunately we cannot prevent the hair from becoming grey. It could be genetic, just avoid shampoos for dandruff or those that contain acids if possible because they can exacerbate the problem. Vitamins will not help that much too. If the area that is losing the color is limited to just one part and several adjacent hair have lost color it can be a disease in that case but this is not so common.
