It's near the proximal humerus. No there is no history of trauma and I do not take any medication.

Your complaint is rather vague and no definite conclusions can be made without a proper physical examination. You should probably also get an x-ray of the arm in question. It could be a bone infection (osteomyelitis) but other possibilities should be ruled out.
